Help us meet survivors' immediate needs

Ensuring the basic needs of survivors are met help them make the best decisions for themselves and their children.

Our needs change frequently. We aim to provide basic needs items to all we serve. Please see the list below of our most-needed items.

If you would like to organize a collection drive, please let us know! We can provide lists of urgent items and agency information to support you.

All donated items must be NEW, in original packaging, and/or have tags.

Hygiene items (hair care products for all hair types, soap, body wash, deodorant, toothpaste/brushes, etc.)
Linens (twin-sized sheet sets, twin-sized bedspreads/comforters, pillows, towels)
Comfortable clothing basics for adults and children of all genders and sizes (t-shirts, sweatpants, leggings, sweatshirts, etc.)
Household items (cleaning products, dish sets, pots/pans, etc.)
Toys for all ages (infant to teenager)
Books

How to donate in-person

Please call (414) 810-1958 or email [email protected] before bringing items to our agency, or to schedule a drop-off time.

Our donation hours are Monday – Friday 8am–4pm at 619 W. Walnut Street in Milwaukee, 53212.

Diaper Donations

We are a partner organization of Milwaukee Diaper Mission. Please direct any donations of diapers, baby wipes, and period products (pads, tampons, etc.) to Milwaukee Diaper Mission.

Items we are unable to accept

To comply with health and safety guidelines, we are unable to accept the following items:

Any used items, including used clothing or bedding
Furniture
Vehicles
New or gently used items that are not in the original packaging or that have been stored for an extended period.
Expired food, baby formula or personal care products
Donations with violent themes (e.g., graphics on clothing, toy guns, etc.)

Support our work & mission

Sojourner Foundation is the receiving entity for gifts to Sojourner Family Peace Center. Its mission is to provide philanthropic support for Sojourner Family Peace Center, Inc., which transforms lives impacted by domestic violence.
