We Are Here To Help

Our mission is to create peaceful communities in which domestic respect and a life free from violence is the right of every woman, man and child.

Sojourner Family Peace Center provides education, advocacy and resources to keep people safe. We operate a 42-bed shelter that has provided safety and support services to thousands of women and children. Other programs include a 24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline, Domestic Abuse Victim Advocates in the Milwaukee District Attorney’s Office, Belle Resource Center for Women and Children, Courthouse Advocacy and Restraining Order Clinic, Legal Emergency Assistance, Children’s Advocacy, Ending Violence through Education and BA-Beyond Abuse, for men and women seeking alternatives to abusive behavior.

Sojourner Family Peace Center is committed to creating communities where people live peacefully.

Thank You to All the Sponsors, Guests and Volunteers at the Brewers Wives Major League Event!

A big thank you to all our sponsors, attendees, volunteers, planning committee members, and auction donors who supported this year's Brewers Wives Major League Event, held on August 20.  This year's fundraiser raised over $55,000 to help support the programs and services of Sojourner Family Peace Center.  Proceeds will help us to break the cycle of family violence for the over 30,000 women, men and children we serve each year.

Visit Blue's Egg in September and Help Support Sojourner Family Peace Center

During the month of September, Sojourner Family Peace Center will be the featured charity at Blue's Egg restaurant.  $1 from each daily Egg Plate sold will be donated to our agency.  So stop in, order the Egg Plate and fill your belly while filling the needs of the 30,000 individuals Sojourner Family Peace will serve this year.

Sojourner Family Peace Center Selected as a Miracle on Canal Street Charity!

Sojourner Family Peace Center was chosen as one of of Potawatomi Bingo and Casino's "Miracle on Canal Street" charities this year.  Each charity will receive a share of funds raised by the "Miracle" bingo game between now and December 9th.  Last year, each charity received over $50,000!  These much-needed funds will help support our children's programs and services.
